What is Astrahunter?

Astrahunter finds jobs worth applying for and writes the application. It reads roles straight from the applicant tracking systems companies post them on, matches them against your real CV on meaning rather than keywords, and rewrites that CV for each posting using only the facts already in it.

How it works

It watches the source, not the aggregator

Roles are read from company career pages and the applicant tracking systems behind them — Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby — alongside paid job-data feeds for the cities and role families you have asked for. A role usually reaches a company's own system before it syndicates to a job board, and the version there is the one that is current.

It matches on meaning

Your CV and a posting are compared on what the work is, not on which words they share, so a Member of Technical Staff role still surfaces when your CV says Product Engineer. Titles vary wildly between companies. The work does not.

It rewrites the CV for the posting

Each application gets a CV tailored to that job, reordered and rephrased from the CV you gave us. Any number or credential written into it has to already appear in your CV or in something you typed, or the edit is refused — the check is structural, not an instruction the model is asked to follow.

It reads the employer's real form

Where an employer publishes their application questions, we show you the actual ones and draft answers to the ones it is ours to draft. Where they publish nothing, you get nothing, because a list of plausible-looking questions nobody asked is worse than no list.

It runs once a week

Every account's roles are found in the same weekly run. There is nothing to check daily and nothing to configure.

What it will never do

What it costs

Free forever for five applications a month, with every role we find for you included. Premium is €9 a month for unlimited, cancel anytime, and five friends who sign up earns you 30 days. The full pricing is here.

When it is the wrong tool

If you already have the roles and only need your CV to match them, or if applying rather than finding is what is slow, something else will serve you better. We keep an honest comparison of job search tools that names them, and a section on where we are the wrong choice.
